November 28, 1938 in Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan
■ Background
・ Lived in Nanjng, Shanghai and Sinchou. 1942〜45
・ Started oil painting lessons with one of the famous artists, the late Shigehiko Ishikawa, 1954
・ Attended the College of Wooster, Ohio, 1958−60, a leading Presbyterian College in U.S.A. / Received the Netta Strain Scott Prize in art. the art prize for 1959, from the College of Wooster.
・ B.F.A. degree with honor, Michigan State University,1962.
・ Assistant interior designer, Minoru Yamazaki Architectural Design Office, Birmingham, Michigan, 1962. (Yamazaki designed the 9.11 World Trade Center , New York)
・ Interior designer, Junzo Yoshimura Architectural Design Office, Tokyo, 1963
・ Received constant advice from the late Tadao Tanaka, the leader of the Japanese Christain art world. 1963-93
